Step Stamp
Collectible Adventure Walk App
StepStamp is a dynamic walking app designed to motivate users to walk daily, rewarding them with digital stamps upon the completion of diverse event challenges. Beyond promoting physical activity, the app fosters social interaction, enabling users to connect and make new friends. Event challenges are categorized as default or thematic, each influencing the unique designs of the collected stamps. Notably, StepStamp incorporates an advanced AI feature that delivers personalized recommendations. These include suggesting scenic routes tailored to users' interests and fitness levels, along with generating insights on popular walking routes, peak walking times, and areas with heightened safety considerations.
This was inspired by Pikmin Bloom when I was exploring apps related to walking. I started using it as a game player and realised there is a possibility to have a proper walking app while still having the nature of collecting aesthetical items to motivate a person to walk more.
Upon completing a designated route challenge, users can collect a thematic stamp and share it, along with their endpoint location, with friends.
